In support of humanitarian initiatives in the “Year of Zayed”, the UAE Red Crescent and ALDAR University College recently signed a joint cooperation agreement at the Red Crescent headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The purpose is to achieve the country’s strategy for community responsibilities in the humanitarian field through joint projects and integrated programs to serve the local community.
His Excellency Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Deputy Secretary General for the Local Affairs Sector, signed the agreement on behalf of the Red Crescent, while Prof. Dr. Ezz El Din Hattab, the President, signed on behalf of ALDAR University College.
His Excellency Mr. Al-Mansoori pointed out that the agreement is a living example of the humanitarian cooperation between Red Crescent and its strategic partners in all sectors of society and its various institutions, especially educational institutions. The importance of the role played by these institutions in creating and nurturing generations through the various opportunities and fields of education available to all, In the universities, colleges and various stages of education on the local scene and for a better future and a decent life for future generations.
Prof. Dr. Ezz Hattab, President of ALDAR University College, said that the College is keen to hold several strategic partnerships with the community that support ALDAR strategy to serve the community and inspire the volunteer work spirit to motivate and enhance the student’s personality to become a community-oriented student. At the same time Prof. Ezz announced the opening of the headquarters of the Red Crescent Club in ALDAR premises to accommodate all ALDAR volunteer students.
