Human Resource Management: Human Resources are critical to the success of any organization. This concentration will develop the students’ skills and competencies operationally as well as strategically in the areas of management of human capital focusing on general administration, HR policies, recruitment and selection planning, payroll management, training and development, labor relations and labor laws.

The focal point of Bachelor of Business Administration program in Human Resource Management is to elucidate to students that Human Resources are critical to the success of any organization. The purpose of Human Resource Management is to acquire, develop, utilize, and maintain employees. It has the responsibility to maximize the productivity of an organization by optimizing the effectiveness of its Human Capital to achieve organizational goals.

The Human Resource Management Concentration is designed to enable students to qualify for managerial level positions equipped with a strong background about the contemporary areas of Human Resource Management as per the business environment of UAE. It will prepare the students to apply the core concepts and industry insights to optimally utilize and manage Human Capital to achieve organizational goals. This program is intended for students who desire to target jobs in the fields of Employee Relations, Compensation or Benefit Analysis, HR Information Systems, Training and Development in government or private sector organizations.

Apart from General and Core courses the students will study the following compulsory and elective courses for Bachelor’s degrees in business administration Human Resource Management program:

  1. Human Resources Management
  2. Perfomance and Compensation 
  3. Training and Development
  4. Recruitment and Selection 
  5. UAE Labor law and Relations

Hold a UAE High School or its equivalent (Pass)
Original High school certificate for the 12th grade with average minimum of 60% or its
equivalent (Pass)
For Students holding American Secondary Degree (High School Diploma) or The International/French Baccalaureate:
  • Must have completed 12 years of studies upon obtaining the High School Certificate
  • Submit a certified copy of grades 10, 11, and 12 transcript certificates
  • Must have completed at least (6) courses successfully within at least four of the following study areas: Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, and languages
For Students holding a British Secondary Certificate (IGCSE, GCSE, GCE):
  • A total of 7 O-Level or GCSE/IGCSE subjects are required or alternatively, a combination of O-Level and AS/A-Levels, provided that the subjects cover at least four of the following fields: Math, Science, Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences and/or Arts and Design.
  • The minimum required grades for the above accepted subjects are “C” for the O level, “D” for AS level, and “E” for the A level.
High school average for the 12th grade of minimum 70%
Have succeeded in advanced math and Physics (level 3)
